Electrical engineering is a very wide subject. Earlier, when computers were not there, only two main branches existed in engineering. They were mechanical and electrical courses. Electronics may or may not be a part of this field. Usually electrical course consists of electricity, power transmission and motor control. Electronics on the other hand deals with small scale chips, semi conductors and computer hardware which have integrated circuits. Electrical training involves transmission of energy with electricity and electronics uses electricity to transmit information or data. Power, control systems, digital and analog are now a part of the field of electrical engineering.
